Clinical Assessment
A 12-year-old child from Triprayar presenting with co-existing atopic dermatitis (eczema) and allergic rhinitis since early childhood. Frequently treated with oral steroids and topical steroid ointments, leading to thin skin and localized hyperpigmentation.
Homeopathic Therapeutics & Management
Sulphur was prescribed in high dilution to antidoto steroid suppression and address dry itchy skin eruptions, followed by Calcarea Carbonica as a constitutional remedy to strengthen immune defense.
Lifestyle & Nutritional Support
Apply virgin coconut oil immediately after bathing; wear loose cotton clothing; avoid synthetic soaps.
Clinical Outcome
Follow-up Period: 1 year- Initial mild homepathic aggravation of skin itch followed by healing within 4 weeks
- Nasal allergy symptoms resolved by Month 3
