Clinical Assessment
A 42-year-old fisherman from Vadanappally suffering from chronic allergic rhinitis. Worsened by the humid coastal marine environment and night-time sea breeze. He had been using over-the-counter decongestant nasal drops for years, resulting in rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa).
Diagnostic Investigations: Nasal endoscopy showing boggy, pale turbinates with thick mucoid secretions.
