A 72-year-old retired priest from Triprayar suffering from chronic atonic constipation for 8 years. Due to age-related intestinal sluggishness and low physical activity. Dependent on daily herbal laxative powders, which had caused bowel tolerance (sluggish colon).

Alumina was indicated for complete lack of rectal urge even with soft stools and dry mucous membranes, while Bryonia resolved dry, hard stools.
