- Pruritic, flat-topped purplish bumps (papules) on wrists and ankles
- Intense, persistent itching that worsens in the evening
- Wickham's striae (lacy white lines) on the lesions
- Post-inflammatory dark pigmentation after lesions flatten
Clinical Assessment
Diagnosed with cutaneous lichen planus. Topical steroids failed to stop new lesions from appearing, leading her to seek systemic homeopathic care.
Diagnostic Investigations: Skin biopsy confirming lichen planus; hepatitis C panel negative.
