Presenting Complaints & History

  • Acute, spasmodic pain in the left flank radiating to groin
  • Nausea, vomiting, and cold sweats during pain spikes
  • Burning urination and pink-tinged urine (hematuria)

Clinical Assessment

Admitted with acute renal colic. Desired to avoid lithotripsy or ureteroscopy for a small stone, opting for medical expulsive therapy under close monitoring.
